Jessica
Jessica Giovani is just an ordinary person who found herself enjoying the world of meeting and talking to new people every single day. In her own words, "Basically I am a flexible person, I really like hanging out with friends and I love to able to deal with the characteristics of different people."
So when she is older, her interest grows into a more serious realm. That is when she entered the university and became a Psychology Graduate from Atma Jaya Jakarta and realized that Human Resources is the perfect profession for her.
Her Journey at ISMAYA
ISMAYA has long been famous for its exciting concerts and restaurants which are scattered throughout Indonesia, and that is what intrigued Jessica to do an internship in ISMAYA because it is not only engaged in the Food and Beverage sector but also in the lifestyle section such as concerts and events too, surely the dynamics of recruiting people will be much more different than others.
Jessica and her team
“My supervisors are very kind and well-experienced, so when I talk to them and ask questions, they are very open with their answers. They also give me a lot of new knowledge about recruitment, F&B, and many exciting activities provided by the company, like sushi and pizza classes! I really learned a lot at ISMAYA not only in the scope of HR but also in other divisions in the F&B industry,” she said.
Since comfort is everything to her, she felt that she fits really well into ISMAYA's culture which is relaxed and fun, but still professional and always gets the job done. That is why, at the end, she made the decision to continue her work as a full-time Trooper at ISMAYA.
The Key to Recruitment
As a psychology graduate with the knowledge of an HR Recruitment Associate, she said there are 4 important points needed as a recruiter, such as having really good interviewing skills, the ability to do well at sourcing, high attention to detail, having a good attitude and, most importantly, having excellent communication skills.
