A Humble Beginning
Riyan joined Ismaya in August 2015, shortly after graduating from High School. With a burning desire to explore the culinary world, he began his career as a Housekeeping Staff (BOH) at Ismaya's flagship outlet, Blowfish. As he delved into the role, Riyan gained valuable insights into outlet maintenance, housekeeping, and the fundamentals of his position.
After five years of dedicated service as a BOH, Riyan's journey took a new turn when he was transferred to Osteria Gia Pacific Place as a steward. His passion for culinary arts continued to grow, and an exciting opportunity awaited him. The opening of a new outlet, Osteria Gia at Pondok Indah Mall 2, led to Riyan's transition into the kitchen as a Cook Helper in February 2022.
