Why is it important for us to improve employee skills and knowledge?
Employees are the most important aspect of a company; after all, productive employees are what make a company successful in the first place. That is why, to us, people are more than just resources; they are distinct individuals with various backgrounds, needs, and goals.
Therefore it is necessary to have a training department that can assist and provide appropriate materials for employees. According to our Training Manager, Mr. Agus Budiono, there are 3 essential things – basic training, coaching, and motivation.
Training
Training is one of the essential foundations for every employee to know and learn. Because it helps everyone understand their responsibilities as well as sharpen their knowledge and skills they need for their job.
Training session for all Operations Trooper
Such training mostly includes learning about the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), SOS (Sequence of Service), basic communication skills, etiquette, and many more. Learning all of these basics will help boost their confidence, which then helps them perform better while they are in the field.
Motivation
Employee motivation increases efficiency and usually the motivation can be in the form of rewards, promotions, or employee activities. By providing motivation, the hope is to spur the enthusiasm of each individual to work even better, and provide the best performance in order to achieve an expected goal.
High employee motivation will have a positive impact on the progress of the company and the development of the employees themselves.
Coaching
Coaching is another quintessential thing to improve employees' proficiency. Coaching focuses on improving performance and personal development. It allows people to better assess their own strengths as well as areas for improvement.

Overall, by giving the employees training, the right type of coaching, and motivation to keep them going, it can track the employee’s competence to eventually give us the chance to identify potential talent within the workforce. That is why, here at ISMAYA, we would like to provide a platform for all Troopers to be able to hone existing knowledge and use these skills appropriately in the workplace
